Worship at FBCLS
Worship is a way of life, not a specific time on a Sunday morning. Many people equate worship with attending a church service where you participate in singing, listening to the message, giving, and reading Scripture. Worship certainly can be all of those activities if it is an outpouring of your heart to God. Each Sunday we gather together for a time of corporate worship–all of us together expressing our love, admiration, and affection for our Lord. Worship can be anything you do that pleases God.
In our Worship, Music and Media Ministries we have three core values: EXCELLENCE, AUTHENTICITY, and HUMILITY. God deserves nothing less than the best we can offer Him, we need to make sure that our lives reflect the truths of the Gospel, and we need to constantly remind ourselves that without God’s blessing and anointing, our best efforts are just noise.
We are blessed to be a multicultural and multigenerational church, and our worship reflects that by utilizing a wide variety of musical styles in our worship. Worship is not a spectator sport, so we involve people from all walks of life and backgrounds in leadership roles in our services.

Every member and attender is already a part of the biggest and most important musical group at FBCLS – the congregation! We encourage you to join in as we lift our voices, our hands and our hearts to God in worship.

Technical Services Ministry
Have you ever wondered how we present graphics on the screens or stream our services live? Are you interested in learning how to mix the various instruments/vocals from the stage? Do you know how to use a cell phone, tablet, or laptop? If so, our Technical Services Team has a place for you! We are a group of dedicated volunteers who strive to make each worship service as reverent and worshipful as possible. We provide training and will work with you as you learn and expand your skills.
On any given Sunday morning we have volunteers working in the following areas: Worship Center live audio, Live Stream audio, Camera operator, Video switcher operator, and worship graphics operator. If you are interested in learning more, contact team leader Ryley McKoy.
